The Downham Market & District Heritage Society warmly welcomes everyone with an interest in our local history and heritage – whether you’re a long-standing resident, new to the area, or simply curious about the stories that have shaped our town and district.
By becoming a member, you are directly supporting the Society’s work. Membership fees play a vital role in helping us preserve, research, and share our heritage, including the ongoing development of new projects. Just as importantly, membership connects you with a friendly group of people who care about keeping local history alive for future generations.

Annual Membership Fee: £15 per person
Joining is easy, but at the moment, we can only accept on-line payments through BACS. Simply complete the online form below, providing all your details and selecting payment by BACS. Next, enter your payment details through your banking app or account. Once this is done, submit the completed application form. After we have received your application and payment confirmation, we will register your membership and send your membership pack to you. Membership runs on a rolling annual basis and is renewed each year. We will contact you in advance to let you know when your renewal is due.
