Portrait Art Classes – Week 3

Downham Art Classes are delighted to announce a new four-week drawing course dedicated to portraiture.

Working from a diverse range of models, you’ll explore a variety of techniques and materials, including Conté, pencil, charcoal and watercolour. Throughout the course, local artist and tutor, Richard will guide you through approaches to observing the head in light and shade, experimenting with texture and tone, achieving a closer likeness and capturing the unique character of each sitter.

The course is limited to just eight places, ensuring a supportive learning environment and an excellent model-to-attendee ratio.

All high-quality artists’ materials are provided.
