From feast-day banquets fit for a king to the humble peasant’s pot, this talk serves up a generous helping of history with a side of humour. Find out what was on the menu (and what most definitely wasn’t), why spices were worth their weight in gold, and how to impress your guests – 14th-century style! Come hungry for knowledge and ready for a few delights.
